Product info Radikal G30 Carbon SE Kit Flybarless
The Carbon SE and Flybarless versions come with a pre-painted color canopy as shown above.
The Zenoah gasoline engine is a very large engine and must be properly supported within the mechanics for structural integrity and power transfer. The Century Radikal G30 does this elegantly utilizing the existing mounting points on the engine as well as creating new mounting points with the engine fan plate. This ensures your engine is not going to move or vibrate free within the mechanics.

Just take a look at that clutch! Not only is it huge, but it's necessary for the torque these gasoline engines produce. This clutch is the largest one we've ever made for our helicopters. The ventilated clutch bell measures 67mm in diameter and 14mm tall. Note: Engine not included.
The Radikal G30's cooling fan is not only light weight but also made highly efficient. The fan not only pushes air over the engine, the lower portion of the fan pulls cool air in. This increases the overall efficiency of the fan creating a nice push/pull cooling effect.

We've built the Radikal G30 not only as a compact frame but also with maintenance in mind. The way the frames have been designed, the Radikal G30 is one of the easiest gasser platforms to work on. We've lowered the parts count and also made the engine easily accessible. Just undo 5 bolts from each side and the entire engine platform drops right out.

Although lightweight, the Radikal G30 is supported in many hidden areas providing frame stiffness which in turn allows all that power to be transferred from the engine to the blades. The rigorous 3D routines pilots are performing nowadays has been taken into account offering a lightweight yet extremely rigid platform. Note: SE Carbon version shown. Electronics not included.
Here is just one of the items that have been taken into account when designing the Radikal G30 using a Zenoah 23-30cc engine. The starter shaft one-way bearing has been increased in size from our conventional helicopters. This shaft is now a 10mm shaft going into a more durable one-way bearing. This is required to turn over the higher compression modified Zenoah motors without wearing out this bearing.
Exclusive to the Radikal G30 Carbon SE kit is the all new metal head. This comes stock with the Carbon SE version offering all out performance. The rotorhead is constructed of a CNC machined metal yoke and blade grips with replaceable arms. There is a floating style feathering shaft which is triple bearing supported including thrust bearings. The head is fully CNC machined with full ball bearing Bell-Hiller mixer levers. The adjustable Bell-Hiller mixers allow the preferred mixing ratios to be programmed.

When we say "Designed from the ground up," we mean it. The frames have been designed with the fuel tank as close CG-wise to the main shaft as possible. The carburetor fuel level has been located at center-line for smooth engine operation in all flight attitudes. The 300mL tank offers long flight times and isn't oversized providing the best flight time to CG change ratio.

The control systems is electronic CCPM with three servos in a 120° configuration. Push / Pull hinged double ball-bearing bell cranks are used including double ball-bearing pitch levers. Pre-molded pitch compensators are included so no matter what servo arm you use, you will have proper linkage positioning. A double ball-bearing supported, CNC machined all metal swashplate with 120° configuration is included in all the kits. Push/pull control system ensures all the power is transferred to the swashplate in a unilateral direction. A total of 28° pitch range can be established with the Radikal G30 mechanics. The mechanics offer multiple electronic placement configurations. The frames have been designed to minimize crash costs as the front section can be replaced independently from the rear section of the frames. The main gear is spiral cut providing additional surface area for maximum load bearing and quiet gear operation. The sleeved auto-rotation main gear is dual bearing supported. The single-stage gearbox offers the best minimal friction loss during power transfer. Extra wide tail belt, metal tail gearbox tensioner, and metal tail gear pulley provide additional longevity.
The rudder servo is conveniently hidden away and mounted within the side frames to minimize loss in the event of a crash. The canopy standoffs are plastic allowing them to be the sacrificial part in a crash possibly saving the fiberglass canopy without damaging the carbon frames. Note: SE Carbon version shown. The tail section has been designed to be completely removable as a separate unit. The carbon fiber adjustable rudder control rod offers maximum direct control from the servo to the tail rotor. Anodized machined end caps finish off the carbon fiber rods which provide maximum tail boom support. Note: SE Carbon version shown. Electronics, muffler not included.
The tail system is a triple bearing supported tail grips which includes a thrust bearing. 140° of tail pitch range offers extremely fast tail response. The hardened tail output shaft is triple ball bearing supported. The integrated vertical fin into gearbox offers rigidity as well as weight reduction. CNC machined gearbox clamps offers lightweight and strength. The Radikal G30 also features a ball bearing supported. Note: SE Carbon version shown.
